Community Engagement Committee
The Community Engagement Committee plans Friends of Lafitte Greenway's community & health programming and events, and strengthens our outreach efforts within the Greenway's diverse communities. 
Meetings: Bi-monthly on the 4th Tuesday of even-numbered months, 6:00-7:30 PM, Greenway Office at Sojourner Truth Neighborhood Center (2200 Lafitte St.)
Pop-ups: In the months between meetings, we hold community pop-ups on the Greenway to meet Greenway users! Contact for information about our next pop-up.

Planning & Design Committee
Planning & Design is our committee of design and development experts that reviews matters related to the built environment on the Greenway and in the surrounding Lafitte Corridor neighborhoods.
Meetings: Bi-monthly on the 2nd Wednesday of odd-numbered months, 11:30-1:00 PM, Greenway Office at Sojourner Truth Neighborhood Center (2200 Lafitte St.)

Fund Development Committee
The Fund Development Committee works to ensure that Friends of Lafitte Greenway meets its fundraising goals through sponsorships, the membership program, and grants.

Growing the Greenway
The Growing the Greenway Committee works to advocate for and create community gardens on the Lafitte Greenway, which will improve health outcomes of local residents, strengthen neighborhood bonds, support environmental stewardship education, and foster economic growth along the Greenway.
