A new mural by renowned local artist, Brandon “Bmike” Odums, opened trailside this week--adding color and energy to the Greenway experience. The mural features soccer superstar, Paul Pogba, of Manchester United and the French National Team.

In honor of the World Cup, 3 “Larger Than Life” murals of 3 soccer superstars are being revealed in 3 cities nationwide: Mo Salah in Times Square NYC, Neymar in Miami, and Paul Pogba on the New Orleans’ Lafitte Greenway. “Larger Than Life” is a project of sports culture website, Bleacher Report.

The piece beautifies a once blank wall of The Cellar St. Louis--a trailside event venue and warehouse space nearby the Greenway’s soccer fields at 2500 St. Louis Street. Stop by to enjoy the artwork, watch the video on the making of the mural, and check out the Bleacher Report story.
