We are proud and excited to share with you the first update to the Lafitte Greenway Master Plan since it was first adopted in 2013. This plan calls for improving the Lafitte Greenway Plaza/Station, significantly expanding green infrastructure, building new bike/pedestrian connections, installing world class play structures for children, and improving safety at N. Broad Street and N. Norman C. Francis Pkwy crossings.
This plan represents the voice of Greenway users: over 600 residents, advocates, and local businesses owners participated in surveys, online meetings, in person open houses, and interviews on the Greenway. We also extend our appreciation to the RosaMary Foundation and Keller Family Foundation, whose support made this possible.
We also want to extend our design and engagement consultant Dana Brown & Associates who did an extraordinary job. In particular, we want to extend a tremendous thank you to Danielle Duhe for leading this effort alongside us.
