The North Lopez pedestrian bridge will begin construction soon! We are grateful the city is building an essential, safe access point to the Greenway and its surrounding neighborhoods. Construction is set to begin soon and finish up in late summer. 

DPW hosted a preconstruction meeting on Feb. 11, 2021. At the preconstruction meeting, Josh Scott, the DPW Project Manager, confirmed the bike and pedestrian trail will remain open during construction with detours created if needed. They will also check with engineers to ensure the culvert in the bioswale will allow for the same level of drainage as present.
