The Lafitte Greenway is a 2.6-mile linear park located in the heart of New Orleans that connects people to nature, their destinations, and each other. Since its opening in 2015, the Greenway has served as the city’s premier bicycle and pedestrian pathway, linking neighborhoods from the French Quarter to City Park. Whether you are looking to engage with your local community, spend time in nature, or get active, the Greenway is the space for you!

Park hours

As a key part of our transportation network, the Greenway is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. NORD staff are on the grounds from 7 am to 10 pm. Looking for more information on hours for key Greenway amenities? Visit Play, Sports, and Swim
