A great Greenway depends on strong and engaged communities.
At Friends of Lafitte Greenway, we believe that relationships are the foundation of community leadership. Help us build and maintain strong relationships with our community partners-- join the Greenway Streets Team!
What is the Streets Team?
Volunteers who live, work, worship or play in the neighborhoods around the Greenway, who:
- Build and maintain relationships with community hubs such as churches, neighborhood associations, social aid and pleasure clubs, barber shops, and more.
- Spread the word about events and programs on the Greenway
- Represent the Greenway at community meetings and gatherings
- Connect with trail users and Greenway neighbors to gather input and ideas to drive our work
