The Claiborne Corridor Ambassadors will host Safe-Tea on the Greenway, an event to help build awareness about pedestrian and bike safety at the Lafitte Greenway crossings. The event is scheduled for Friday, June 10 and will include a presentation from the Claiborne Ambassadors, safety sign designing, and free iced tea.

Safe-Tea on the Greenway will take place from 3 to 5:30 p.m. this Friday at the Broad Theater, located at 636 N Broad Street. The event schedule is as follows:

• 3 p.m.: Free Iced Tea & Design Your Own Safety Sign
• 4 p.m.: Claiborne Ambassadors Presentation & Speakers
• 4:30 p.m.: Safety Action: Raise Your Signs // Raise Awareness
