(Complimentary parking can be accessed in the lot near 500 N Claiborne --see below for instructions. Biking and transit encouraged!)

10:30 - 12:00 3-Mile Guided Hike
Hike the Greenway Lemann Playground to Second Line Brewing
Explore the Greenway's history, amenities, and stormwater features on a guided tour. Enjoy live performances en route by local musicians!

12:00 - 2:00 Block Party
Second Line Brewing / 433 N. Bernadotte
Live music by Secondhand Street Band, Food Trucks, & a chance to share your Greenway vision. Plus, educational and cultural activities with over 20 organizational partners!  $1 from every beer donated to Friends of Lafitte Greenway.

Parking Directions

From N. Claiborne (Down river), turn right at the “Motorcoach Resort” sign.  “Motorcoach Resort” is immediately after the intersection of N. Claiborne and St. Louis. Continue straight down path until entrance to the parking lot on the left. The lot will be marked with a HIKE PARKING sign. If you reach Crozat St., you’ve gone too far.


From N Claiborne (Up river), turn left on St. Louis St and continue on N.Claiborne. Turn right at the “Motorcoach Resort” sign.  “Motorcoach Resort” is immediately after the intersection of N. Claiborne and St. Louis Street. Continue straight down path until entrance to the parking lot on the left. The lot will be marked with a HIKE PARKING sign. If you reach Crozat St., you’ve gone too far.
