Supernova: Celebration and Fundraiser!

We’re celebrating the year at the Greenway Supernova! We hope you’ll join us for our 3-night outdoor, light-based art exhibit and largest annual fundraiser. Supernova is free to attend.

Thank You Volunteers!

Thank you to volunteers from Henderson Hutter Group, Oschner Health Center, UNO, Lusher, Tulane VISTA, Outreach Tulane, Deloitte, and all other members of the Greenway community who came out to clean up and clear up the Greenway following Hurricane Ida.

 

Volunteers made a huge difference clearing up trash, clearing overhanging branches, uprighting trees, removing broken and fallen trees, and removing graffiti along the trail. We are heartened by this show of support and dedication from the members of the community to the Greenway and are proud of the work that has been accomplished.

 

Stay tuned for more developments in the maintenance of the Greenway’s green spaces and for more opportunities to lend a hand!

North Lopez Bridge Construction Resumes

The North Lopez Bridge project has resumed construction at the intersection of North Lopez and the Greenway.

The Roadwork NOLA team confirms the path will remain accessible to pedestrians and bicyclists throughout the project, and is scheduled for completion in 2022.

 

Movies in the Park: Tangled

NORD and Friends present a FREE screening of Tangled on the Greenway. Bring a blanket, chairs, masks, and snacks.
