We have two Get Fit classes this summer for you: Hot Yoga with The Ohm Well and Hip Hop Cardio with Domango Training. Remember to bring a water bottle and a towel.

A Super Family Arts Event...and you’re invited!

On Juneteenth, join us for a Super Family Arts Event with Young Audiences of Louisiana on the Greenway Great Lawn, 9:30-11AM. A morning filled with arts education activities for children and caregivers: an Ella Jenkins Sing-a-long, visual arts activity for older children, and a YALA Artsplay! Workshop led by professional teaching artists. Families will receive an Artsplay! Gift Bag that includes a free book (while supplies last).

In partnership with Young Audiences of Louisiana, Sojourner Truth Neighborhood Center, We Play Center, and Hey Coffee Co.

The Greenway Ambassadors Program is back

We are recruiting for 5 enthusiastic and engaged Ambassadors to represent the Greenway and connect our work with members of their communities.

What do Ambassadors do?

Share information about the Greenway, and its programs and events with neighbors, community members, and trail users,
Gather ideas about the Greenway from their neighbors,
Represent the Greenway at community gatherings, meetings, and events, and
Shape the future of the Lafitte Greenway.

Ambassadors will be provided a stipend for their time.
