Join Friends of Lafitte Greenway and Bike Easy Instructors to learn how to make quick fixes on the go and other maintenance tips to keep you in gear.

This two-hour workshop will focus on the basics of bike maintenance, and participants will leave with an expanded knowledge of how to diagnose problems on their bikes. Open to all experience levels, we will work in groups to practice hands-on maintenance. We’ll also have a short discussion of commuting basics, safe riding tips and being a vehicle on the road. Instructors will be happy to answer questions about bike fit, equipment, and rules of the road. Participants do not need to provide their own bikes.

Following the workshop, there will be a brief info session about Bike Easy's Bike to Work Day 2017, and a Greenway ride!
