"Everybody can be great. Because anybody can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve.... You don't have to know the second theory of thermodynamics in physics to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love." -Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Join us for an MLK Day of Service on the Greenway. We'll be applying the top coat of varnish to the incredible racial reconciliation mural on Lemann Pool with The Arts Council, Prospect New Orleans, YAM, and the Welcome Table Mid-City Circle. We'll also be making the Greenway clean, green, and beautiful, by picking up litter.

Make sure to wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing that you don't mind getting dirty, and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. The more the merrier! Many hands make light work.

Will you come?
